
Health communication, as the study and application of communication theories in the field of health, is nowadays recognised as a crucial domain to efficaciously inform and influence individual and community health-related decisions.
ECHO is a project which provides customized autonomous blended eLearning Courses on health communication for different targets (Universities, post-graduate education and continuing education). It preserves flexibility and autonomy of users, since learners can proceed through the course at their own place and at a time that is convenient.
ECHO exploits learning methods which are best suited to create and strengthen users’ competence in the analysis, evaluation and production of health communication interventions.
